A real estate licensee must complete continuing education prior to renewing the license every four years.
The first renewal period requires the completion of twelve hours approved courses that includes three hours each on the topics of Agency, Ethics and Professional Conduct, Trust Fund Handling and Fair Housing.
After the first renewal licensees are required to complete 45 hours of continuing education every four years. The 45 hours must include at least six hours covering the topics of Agency, Ethics and Professional Conduct, Trust Fund Handling and Fair Housing.
